1951 Humber Super Snipe

Allocated in the 1950's for the exclusive use of the 'Chief of Staff' Southern Command.  At that time being Major General DGD Heyman, of whom I was the driver.

I had restored many vehicles before starting on the 1951 Humber in 1998. I found I had more pleasure in the restorations than driving them when completed. Every one I lost money on, there is no money in restoring vehicles, especially as you never count all the hours you put in personally. This all changed with the Humber. I found a car I enjoyed driving, reminising and showing. And by taking it to shows I have won many awards. This has led to other projects.
