Started by myself (Cpl Doug Frampton) for the restoration display and renactment of staff cars used by C platoon in the 1950's.

C Platoon used many different vehicles in the 1950's, from Series One Land Rovers to Austin Princess and Humber Pullman Limousines. The backbone of the Platoon however was the Pool cars, they were Austin A70 Herefords, 10 COY had around 10 of these. The Pool cars did many thousands of miles, transporting HQSC Officers all over the country. They were a very realiable car and, in their day, a very modern car.
